We like to keep it pretty simple here at Joyce Remedial.

We don’t charge extra for for additional treatment types (including strapping, RockTape and many more!).

You just pay for the time we spend together.

 

DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling is a modern treatment designed to ease muscular pain. During dry needling, we apply several filiform needles that treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. No injections are involved, hence the term 'dry'.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue massage is a technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. It breaks up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduces tension in muscles. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial release is an alternative medicine therapy claimed to be useful for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood, oxygen, and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.

PNF STRETCHING

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Stretching is a more advanced form of flexibility training, which involves both the stretching and contracting of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching is one of the most effective forms of stretching for improving flexibility and increasing range of motion.

ROCKTAPE & RIGID STRAPPING

RockTape is a premium brand of kinesiology tape. Kinesiology tape has become a widely recognised and effective method of treating effected areas. Kinesiology tape has some unique elastic properties that allow it to provide active support, protecting muscles or joints, while still allowing a safe and functional range of motion.

REHABILITATION EXERCISES

Rehabilitation exercises aim to return full function following injury through re-building muscle strength, endurance, power and improving overall flexibility and mobility, in the shortest amount of time, with minimal risk of re-injury.
