FAQS

HOW LONG ARE THE APPOINTMENTS?

Initial appointment recommendations are 60 or 90 minutes. Follow up appointments are 30 minutes as we find this is generally the most appropriate length of time. For more complex conditions or multiple injuries longer appointments can be booked.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?

Any X-Rays, scans or other reports and/or medical notes from specialists are very helpful. Make sure you also bring some water during our session. If you don’t have anything just bring yourself!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We recommend wearing clothing suitable for your assessment, for example a singlet for shoulder or neck problems and shorts for leg/lower limb or pelvic injuries. If PNF stretching is required, you may choose to bring tights/leggings.

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

All major health funds are covered. Message us to find out more.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

Usually a movement analysis and a discussion of certain limitations and restrictions the client is currently dealing with.

WILL THE TREATMENTS BE PAINFUL?

As a therapist I will constantly be checking in to see if you, the client, is comfortable. This will allow us to apply enough pressure to flush out some of the fluid in the muscle but without causing pain.
